Complete the Youth Ambassadors' Community Survey (and enter to win $100!)

We are Youth Ambassadors for the Rice & Larpenteur Alliance. We are also local residents of the Rice & Larpenteur community. As ambassadors, we're conducting surveys to better understand how the residents feel and think about their community. 

Your survey response helps us to capture what is appreciated in this community and what amenities people who live, work, and frequently visit would like to see added to this community. 

As a Rice & Larpenteur Ambassador, we will share the results of our survey with the Rice & Larpenteur Board of Advisors, including local government officials to advocate for your vision of the ideal Rice & Larpenteur community. 

Survey responses completed by August 14, 2023 - will be entered into a raffle for a $100 Visa Gift Card! Winners will be notified the week of 8/14/2023 via email or phone. One response per person. Must be over 15 to reply.

Workforce Solutions

The Rice & Larpenteur Alliance is proud to partner with Ramsey County as an Inclusive Employer Champion. As part of this partnership we share helpful employer and workforce resources provided by Ramsey County.

  • On September 14, Workforce Solutions will host an End-Of-Summer Celebration and Networking Event to give thanks to its youth workforce partners and highlight some of the amazing work that has been accomplished over the past year. When: September 14th, 3-4 p.m. Where: Osborn370 patio, 370 Wabasha St., St. Paul, MN 55102

  • Ramsey County is partnering with World Youth Connect, a local youth-led organization, to help bridge generational and cultural gaps between Ramsey County employers and the region’s young workforce. The Successful Employment Training (S.E.T.) is an opportunity for both new and existing youth supervisors and employers to learn essential onboarding, retention, and communication skills and strategies to ensure a positive work environment for all.   • Health care employs nearly 400,000 people in Minnesota and there is projected long-term demand for health care workers. Currently, there is extremely high demand for many types of health care workers – from entry level to highly specialized. Make a difference in the lives of others – and Follow Your Heart to a Caring Career!

Congratulations to the Rice Street Gardens!

On Saturday August 5, the Rice Street Gardens held its Summer Celebration and fundraiser event. The event was a spectacular celebration of the people and community that has come together in this unique place on Rice St and Roselawn Ave. Learn more about the Rice Street Gardens and consider a donation to help them permanently purchase the garden as part of a larger redevelopment of the site.

"We are 260 families growing our own food, 70 percent of us are immigrants (most from Myanmar and Nepal, and we speak over a dozen first languages. Please help keep Rice Street Gardens Stay Alive! "​
