Annual Call for Funding Proposals Now Open

Every year on the first of June, we open our application inviting SWOG members and their collaborators to submit new requests to tackle unmet needs. While other Hope programs fund direct research, this application gathers concepts that have broader scope or relevance to advancing SWOG’s work.

What do we fund? The list is long!

The Next Generation Fund seeks proposals that could:

  • Improve research, education, or training within SWOG
  • Strengthen engagement with our members
  • Enhance representative accrual to our trials
  • Optimize operational management

Past examples of approved proposals include special symposia covering topics from translational medicine to palliative care. Our VA Storefront and Nurse/CRA Travel Programs both originated here. The Advanced Practice Provider Initiative and Virtual Grant Writing Workshop were ideas put forth by members, too.

Read the recent Front Line post about this opportunity.
