 CPIScholarship Fund

About
The CPI Horse Show Scholarship Fund is a Public Charity under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code and was created to encourage riders to educate themselves about the charitable organizations in their communities, lay emphasis on horsemanship and sportsmanship as key elements needed for equestrian success, and promote higher education as a foundation to future success in life. The CPI relies on donations from generous supporters to bring this unique event to fruition. In 2014, donations from Charles Owen Helmets, Footing First, The CPI Junior Ambassadors, Georgina Bloomberg, and  Armando and Marlen Rouco allowed the CPI to present the highly acclaimed 2014 event and award $7,000 in scholarships to college bound equestrians.

Early Application Dates for High School Juniors and Seniors

2015 CPI Dates Confirmed! January 16 - 18

The Fifth Annual College Preparatory Invitational Horse Show (CPI) will take place January 16 - 18, 2015 in Palm Beach, Florida. The CPI brings back it's weekend event, offering hunter-jumper equitation competition, a college fair, and scholarship possibilities, to the covered arena of the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center. Daniel Smith, event coordinator of Palm Beach County Sports Commission was impressed with the success of the 2014 CPI and had this to share about the return of the CPI to Palm Beach, FL, "The Palm Beach County Sports Commission is delighted to have the CPI Horse Show return in 2015. With the Winter Equestrian Festival taking place just a few miles away, CPI is growing and educating the next generation of riders. While our area will receive the economic impact of having hundreds of riders and collegiate equestrian coaches participating, we're even more excited to see the personal impact that CPI delivers in the form of scholarships, education, and competition."

The mission of the CPI is to educate all high school riders about the equestrian college experience while providing the largest equestrian college fair in the nation, where student riders can meet college coaches and admissions representatives while enjoying fun competitions and chances to win scholarships. New for 2015 are priority application dates for high school grades 11 and 12. Applications for 2015 Juniors and Seniors will be online July 15, 2014. Applications for all high school students will open September 15, 2014. "Because Juniors and Seniors are the most active in the college search, we felt the need to address the growing demand and give them precedence during the application process," stated Jeanne Rouco-Conesa, CPI Founder.
