KICK OFF RETREAT WRAP UP

What an incredible start to our 13th year of Student Leadership Johns Creek! Yesterday, our annual kickoff retreat at Odyssey Escape Games was a blast! All 23 teams successfully escaped their rooms and had a ton of fun doing it.

It was wonderful seeing everyone reconnect from last year and meet new friends. Our second-year group has grown so much over the summer, and we can’t wait for our first program day on September 5th.

Meeting the first-year students and putting faces to names was such a pleasure. The staff at Odyssey had nothing but praise for our amazing students - what a fantastic compliment to the caliber of our leaders. Here's to a great year ahead!

CLASS OF 2025 PROGRAM INFORMATION

September 5 is your first program day of the year. We will be focusing on effective resumes, LinkedIn, portfolio photos and more. Please plan to bring your laptop with you to this program day. We will send out a lot more information for the day including an agenda in a few weeks.

You will need to plan to wear from the waist up a professional looking outfit for your photo. The background is white so plan accordingly.

GROUP PROJECT INFORMATION

You have all been assigned to a group - Centennial Green has been updated in the document. This is the group you will work on your group community service project with this year. To see the group projects from last year click the link - GROUP PROJECTS

We will talk a lot more about group projects at our September 12 program day, but it is not too early to start brainstorming with your group members so you get a jump start on your community project.

Please check your SLJC bag to see if you might have accidentally taken the wrong bag. One of our students is missing his gray armor t-shirt. If you have it could you let Mrs. Sanders know and bring it to the next program day?
