Step into the Staten Island Time
Machine!
The Museum's 2010 writing contest
for students (5th - 12th grade) will focus on Staten Island in the
year 1881.
Teachers can sign up and ask their students to write a creative
story of historical fiction from the point of view of a time
traveler visiting Staten Island in the year 1881 (the Staten Island
Museum's founding year) based on a Mini Archive, provided by the
Museum.
