Announcing the Student Affairs Academic Year 2025 Hybrid Work Plan

Hello Student Affairs Colleagues, 


As we approach the 2025 Academic Year, our Student Affairs Leaders and Operations Team will continue with the hybrid work model unless otherwise communicated. Here are the key updates and guidelines for the AY 2025 Hybrid Work Plan.

What You Need to Know for AY 2025




For Current Employees:

Current employees do not need to submit a new ACC Telework Agreement unless there are changes to their hybrid or remote work arrangements. Any changes must be approved by their direct supervisor and signed off by the AVC/VC. Existing agreements will remain unless supervisors communicate changes to employees. We will continue to monitor that hybrid work agreements and campus support services are aligned to ensure all offices are opened and staffed during our work hours.




For New Employees:

All new ACC employees or those newly joined to the Student Affairs division, whether working in a hybrid or remote capacity, must complete the following requirements. These must be fulfilled either at the time of the Hybrid Work application or as deemed appropriate by their supervisor. This also applies to employees who have successfully completed their probationary period.




For Supervisors

Supervisors must ensure their employees (new to hybrid work) complete all required training and adhere to ACC Telework Agreement guidelines. Instructions for reviewing completed training can be found in the Approve a Hybrid Schedule section on the Supervisor Resource page.

AY25 Hybrid Work Timeline

  • August 9: Complete required training
  • August 12: Meet with your supervisor to complete your job performance and productivity assessment plan and determine your schedule
  • August 22: Submit your signed ACC Telework Agreement to your supervisor
  • August 28: Supervisor submits signed ACC Telework Agreements to area AVC’s EA
  • September 13: Notification of approved schedule provided to employees
  • September 16: New hybrid work schedule in effect


These milestones are recommended to ensure timely completion by the August 28 deadline. Note: Adjustments to hybrid work schedules may be necessary based on business operational and scheduling needs, staffing of in-person offices, increased student engagement programming, individual approved accommodations, and at supervisor discretion to best support students.
