Garden Walk 2023 is Coming!

Stroll Through Our Gardens on Saturday, June 24

Bring a friend. Spend some time relaxing and finding ideas to try in your homescape. Capture ideas like pleasing plant combinations in ground or in containers, new or unusual trees or shrubs to add to the "bones" of your garden and how to include water features. Each garden description features our 1-2-3 education points. Each point matches a numbered stake in the garden highlighting a special attraction in that landscape.

This year we're showcasing seven outstanding & quite magical gardens in Valparaiso and Chesterton!

On Garden Walk 2023, you’ll see arums, alliums and raised Australian wicking beds. You’ll enjoy fountains, pools and a koi pond. You’ll see bold and beautiful beds of vegetables as well as veggies tucked in among the ornamentals. And, if you look closely, you’ll discover pet peepholes and kitty hideaways.

In one landscape the goal is to vary color, texture, scent, size and season to create an endless palette of blooming beauty. One features a small, in-town orchard with a collection of fruit trees and several varieties of berries. Another has an amazing collection of groundcovers, ornamentals and edibles nestled among charming sculptural pieces.

This year’s gardens offer an abundance of ideas and a chance to wonder at the creativity and dedication of their tenders. This is a Garden Walk you don’t want to miss!
