My Very Own Blanket is brings blankets of love, comfort and hope to children in foster care. Here is how you can help us do just that, like the Worthington Christian High School girls soccer team in the photo.

Order blanket kits online. Pick up inside our workshop Monday - Friday, 9 am to Noon, or use our 24-hour curbside bin just outside the workshop.

Drop off your finished blankets in the 24-hour curbside bin outside our workshop..

Not in Central Ohio? Sponsor our "no-sew" blanket kits online to have them sent to you. We will help you contact your local children's services to deliver to kids in care in your area!

Former foster youth have a place to call home -- and a new blanket

MVOB has provided 55 blankets so far to former foster youth, like Ka'Marr shown here with Jessica, who are moving into the Columbus Scholar House III, affordable housing for youth who have aged out of the foster care system and are pursuing full-time higher education. Read more

Blanket comforts traumatized child in Alabama

A five-year-old boy in Alabama recently received one of our blankets on a traumatic day when he desperately needed some comfort. We want to share his story as told by Valencia, the Program Manager with the Office of Foster Care for the State of Alabama, in a virtual conversation with Jessica Rudolph. At left is the photo that Valencia sent us, taken on the day the blanket was given.

Blanket Angel Snapshots

Theresa, Connor & William have made blankets for us for a long time. They made one blanket a day in December 2020, bringing their total to almost 50!

We took this fun photo of several faithful Blanket Angels from St. Luke Lutheran Church delivering 51 more blankets early in August. We're very grateful for their continued support.

Worthington Presbyterian Church once again sponsored 50 “no-sew” fleece blanket kits to change the lives of children in care at their Mission Palooza!
