Reunited, and it feels so good! On Monday, one of our Public Safety Officers (PSOs), Shaun Johnson, found a backpack in a trash can. After confirming that the unattended bag was not a safety threat, our team found the owner’s photo ID, quickly contacted her, and reunited her with her bag. The owner was incredibly grateful, as the bag contained several important items, including her medications and wallet. Our PSOs patrol the neighborhood seven days a week, offering directions, reporting on conditions, and finding lost items like this one.
If you need assistance when walking around the district, keep an eye out for a PSO, and if you lose an item, contact us at 212-581-3774 in case one of our PSOs or Clean Team Members found it!
