Early release days
Please remember that children will be released early Wednesday to Friday, December 14-16, for parent/teacher conferences.

The Holiday Fair is nearly here
Looking for something to do during the early-release day? How about getting some holiday shopping done the Stillmeadow Holiday Fair!
We will be holding the annual fair at the school during all three days of the parent/teacher conferences, Wednesday to Friday, December 14-16.
Children will also have the opportunity to purchase gifts for their loved ones. Your children will be visiting the fair this week with their class. Please send your children with shopping money if you want them to be able to purchase.
We are still seeking volunteers to help out at the event. Click here to sign up for a slot to volunteer during the event.

Volunteers needed for upcoming coding program
Stillmeadow is looking for volunteers for an upcoming program to teach coding to children at our school.
If you have some experience with coding (or even if you don't and still want to help out) please contact Jodi Flom Nathanson at JNathanson@StamfordCT.gov.

The deadline was Friday, December 9, for Spirit Wear orders.
So please deliver any orders for this Stillmeadow-emblazoned clothing now!

After school class schedule update
The last Scratch Programming class for 2016 will be on Tuesday, December 13.
Flyers for Scratch Programming Part 2 will be distributed before the winter break.

Get ready for the chorus and band's Winter Concerts
Stillmeadow's fourth grade chorus and fifth grade band, with members of the fourth grade band as special guests, are gearing up for their Winter Concerts later this month.
Here is the schedule:
- Tuesday, December 20, at 9 am for grades K-2
- Wednesday, December 21, at 9 am for grades 3-5
- Wednesday, December 21, at 7 pm for friends and family
Musicians should report to the cafeteria 30 minutes before each performance for tuning and staging.

The PFO provides funding and support for variety of programs and services, including classroom and media center supplies, academic programs, arts and literacy enrichment programs and social activities.
