Farmer's Market

We invite you to attend the Palace City Farmer's Market on Wednesdays this summer, 5:30-7:30 pm at Hitchcock Park! You will find all types of home-cooked, homemade, and hand-crafted items. There will also be a performance by the Mitchell Municipal Band in the bandshell starting at 7:30 pm.

Get ready for July 5th, 2024 - 1st Friday on Main! Dive into the fun at this FREE community event located in downtown Mitchell by The World’s Only Corn Palace! Come & enjoy Main Street packed full of activities for everyone to enjoy!

The theme for this event is 'Let Freedom Ring!' Show your patriotic spirit by wearing red, white, and blue while enjoying a fun-filled evening downtown! Live music, food trucks, vendors, & lots of family fun!

Corn Palace Stampede Rodeo: "Cowboys In Paradise"

The Corn Palace Stampede Rodeo is back! The rodeo will be July 18th-21st with a parade on Main Street on Saturday at 10:30 am. You won't want to miss this staple event in Mitchell. The new rodeo grounds are located north of the Pepsi Soccer Complex at 6320 N. Ohlman St. Purchase your tickets now!

"The Church Basement Ladies: in A Mighty Fortress Is Our Basement"

The loveable and relatable characters are back again! The Mitchell A.C.T will perform "The Church Basement Ladies: In A Mighty Fortress Is Our Basement" on August 2nd-4th and 9th-10th. Fri/Sat shows start at 7:30 pm and Sunday shows start at 2 pm. Tickets are $25 to $30 in advance and you can purchase tickets two weeks before the opening date here.
