What is Spread 2.0?
Spread 2.0 is a custom designed poker deck (cards and box). It is meant to look like a deck of souvenir cards that you would find in any gift shop.
On the face of each card is a different location in the world, these are some of the most visited travel destinations. Your spectators cut the cards and are then offered 2, 3 or 4 cards where they cut. They take these cards and choose just ONE, placing the others on the table, face down of course. Effect: The performer introduces a piece of Golden “Fossilized Resin” AMBER, it is seen to contain within its clear hardened resin center an embedded spider, it is freely passed around for all to view and handle, explaining the fossilzation process takes up to 10 million years! |

The performer upon retaking hold of the AMBER proceeds to demonstrate how the spider found its way to being entrapped within the AMBER, he does this by momentarily encircling his fingers around the AMBER, at the some time he requests one of the spectators to extend out one of their hands palm up, the performer then visibly holds the AMBER with its entombed spider just above the spectator’s out stretched palm and request all to focus on the entrapped spider, as they do this they suddenly begin to see the spider ever so slightly move within the AMBER, the movement continues when all of a sudden the spider leaps FREE onto the spectators outstretched palm, leaving the solid piece of “Fossilized Resin” AMBER now visibly empty of its once entrapped and entombed spider. |

We did it! Perhaps the greatest mystery of all time! Forget about the Pyramids – we were able to get Jim Kleefeld to make a few more Haunted Bottles! As is usually the case, you never know how long they will last – and they usually don’t last long. So, first come – first served!
A fabulous example of custom crafting a routine and the props that go with it. The Haunted Bottles is a Multiplying Bottles routine created with very special design. You get a custom spooky box with wood-look sign and two creepy customer-designed canisters inside that say Gruella’s Apothecary. Inside the canisters are a large bottle of Spider Venom and a small bottle of Newt Juice. The bottles change places several times, then suddenly another creepy bottle appears. Then another and another. You end up with nine bottles in all – Truth Serum, Rat Poison, Zombie Virus, Red Blood and more. It’s a creepy factor to the extreme! Gorgeous custom designed labels and meticulously and-painted bottles designed to look like aged props that have been used for hundreds of years. A full script is included in the extensive manual. Packs itself into its own sturdy custom painted creepy haunted box. (Box designs vary, but they are all be-witching!)

A small wooden bottle sealed with a stopper is removed from a cloth pouch. The Magus relates the manner in which he came by this unusual artifact and the secret it contains. “The bottle actually contains the spirit of a Genie; a wizard from long ago. This tattered parchment tells the tale and the secret to controlling the Genie within this little bottle. It helps us translate the weird and mysterious glyphs on the base of the bottle.”
This is a great routine full of mystery and Magick. The bottle can be made to lay down or remain upright. The performer is in complete control (as long as the Genie remains happy). This is not your standard Imp in the Bottle effect. A completely unique principle is used here and the spectators will not be able to discover the secret.
The bottle can be made to slowly tip over on your palm and suddenly stand upright. If the spectator tries to duplicate your feat, he will be unsuccessful. Remember, no little iron rod to secretly remove. No magnets, wires or invisible thread. The routine and ancient parchment that is included makes this a wonderful story-telling effect.

Five antique bells are suspended on different lengths of cord from a clear Lucite tube. The performer holds the tube at arm’s length and asks a spectator to choose one of the bells. Effect:
The performer places a matchbox on a table. A wooden toothpick is then introduced and pierced upright into the center of the matchbox. A small paper star is now introduced and balanced atop of the toothpick, next a borrowed clear drinking glass is inverted over all, covering both the matchbox and its star-topped toothpick.
The performer now invites a spectator to blow their breath at the inverted glass to show that no breeze can penetrate the enclosed glass and reach its sealed contents. The performer then places both of his/her hands some distance apart from each other with the inverted glass at their center. After a few moments of concentration by the performer, the paper star it is seen to begin to move “rotate” ever so slightly.
As the performers concentration grows, the paper star continues to slowly twist back and forth. The paper star now turns clockwise, slowing down. It stops, turns back and forth and turns counter clockwise. Then the paper star slows down and comes to a stop. All can then be immediately, handled and examined by your audience.
