Stepping Up

Dear Ministry Partner,

Greetings in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

First, we praise the Lord for His constant faithfulness and goodness upon the family members of CCI-Myanmar. Praise the Lord that they and their family members are doing well in their own residences. My son has well recovered after two weeks of suffering from chickenpox. He can go to school now.

Despite several challenges, all area leaders and trainers have stepped up in the ministry; they are visiting and having fellowship among students and communities in the safe zone. It was so helpful when they showed some practical acts of love such as contributing rice, oil, internet data, blankets, plastic, stationary for children, feminine hygiene products, etc. There are many grateful testimonies of thanksgiving to God and donors. The CCI alumni and teachers usually lead worship service in these communities and now there are some believers who want to use the CCI materials. One alumni decided to start a training class in a refugee camp in 2023.

Pastor B has planted a church in the village where no church has ever existed. Two weeks ago, Pastor B led an evangelistic seminar for three days. 30 people heard the good news of Jesus Christ, over a dozen accepted Christ and three persons received water baptism. He leads the church gradually in their chronological bible study.

Virtual training has been going on for students across the land. I also led a seminar on God’s Financial Principles (GFP) in person in south central Myanmar that opened their spiritual eyes. Praise the Lord!

"The money matter has been one of the main hindrances in my Christian life for years and the ministry as well. I am so blessed by the course and thanks to the National Director for leading the seminar voluntarily. I feel so joyous after learning about who God is and His responsibility, man and our responsibility. It reminds me to rethink who am I in Christ and my personal responsibility that is just to be a good steward and be faithful in what I have. Now I have decided to use His blessings wisely and do good for His people as much as possible."

Prayer Requests & Praises

Praise points:

o Virtual training classes are going on and one class just finished #6.

o Conducted a GFP seminar with over twenty participants in south central Myanmar.

o My wife and I attended a marriage seminar for two days. It is a blessing.

o My son has recovered from chickenpox.

Prayer points:

o That all the people of Myanmar have peace at home and individually in this Christmas season especially. That God will pour out the Spirit especially for those in the war-torn villages and jungles and provide the needs.

o That the Christmas outreach programs of believers among the communities would be effective so that many people will hear about Christ.

o My wife attended a parenting seminar for three days (Dec. 19-21). Pray that it will be a great blessing for the family, church and even more.

o My children practiced several Christmas activities to present in the school. There are children who are not believers in school. Pray for my children; that their involvements will be a great blessing and will glorify God.
