The next blood drive is Monday, February 26.

Versiti Blood Center of Michigan supplies over 75% of the blood products across SE Michigan, yet less than 15% is collected within the same communities. As the local blood provider, it’s critical that we have stabile and consistent inventory - usually a 3-5 day supply. Due to holidays and winter weather, we are experiencing less than 2 day supply of many blood types and continued cancelations of school blood drives due to the weather will impact patient care quickly. You’re invited to attend Our Church Town Hall. This provides an opportunity for members and constituents of the congregation to come together and engage in open dialogue about important matters concerning the community and its future direction. It serves as a platform for sharing ideas, addressing concerns, and fostering transparency within the church leadership. Attend this town hall and contribute to the overall growth and well-being of your church.

There are two meeting times and locations to better accommodate your schedule. Every congregation member and constituent may attend either meeting. Attend the Birmingham First meeting on Tuesday, March 5 at 7:00 p.m. or the Berkley First meeting on Sunday, March 10 at 1:00 p.m.

Looking for a new way to observe the season of Lent? Consider giving up a bit of your time to join the Chancel Choir as we prepare for our Easter celebration.

There’s no better way to experience this holy season than from the choir loft. We know schedules are busy, so we’re happy to work around a few missed rehearsals. We just want you to come and experience the joy of singing in the choir. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Stick around for a few weeks after Easter to sing in our presentation of Dan Forrest’s Jubilate Deo with orchestra. No registration is required; you only need to show up on Wednesday evening!

There are two Summer Mission Trip Info Meetings, one at Birmingham and one at Berkley. Each meeting will include a 5-10 minute presentation on Henderson and a 5-10 minute presentation on Honduras with time for Q&A. Adults, youth, families, and anyone who is interested in potentially participating in one or both of this trips is encouraged to attend.

These Summer Mission Trip Info Meetings will be:

Sunday, March 3 at 3:00 p.m. at Birmingham First

Sunday, March 10 at 11:30 a.m. at Berkley First

On Saturday, March 16 at 7:30 p.m., legendary artist Alvin Waddles returns to Birmingham First for a unique concert experience.
