Worship this Sunday at 10:00 a.m. | |
On this, my final Sunday with Birmingham & Berkley First, I want to share with you a little about my faith journey, my time in ministry with all of you, what God is always inviting us to, and how good it is when we put faith over fear and trust in the Lord. Psalm 34:1-8 entices us to “taste and see that the Lord is good.”
Join us on June 9 at 10:00 a.m. for worship and community and inspiration! Sunday School and Nursery Care are available. Worhsip in-person or online by clicking one of the buttons below.

Pastor Zack preaching
“Harmonize with One Another”
Romans 12:9-18, Romans 14:13
One of our greatest witnesses to the wider world is the way we Christians interact with one another. This June, we will explore New Testament teaching on harmonizing, instructing, accepting, and spurring one another on to love and good deeds. It starts this Sunday when Pastor Zack brings a word on the beauty of Christian harmony.
Sunday at Berkley First, we will also welcome our Duke Intern, Liv Vermane, and host a Home Foods bake sale table: bring your favorite baked good and/or make a donation to take another baked good home. All funds go to support Hunger Ministry. After worship, consider making the trip up to Birmingham First (1589 West Maple Road, Birmingham) to wish Pastor Susie well as she prepares to lead Big Beaver UMC in Troy.

Our goal is to raise $5,000 by the end of the VBS week, which breaks down to $20 in fundraising efforts per participating camper and volunteer. Your VBS Directors have organized four fantastic fundraising efforts, the “Cans, Cups, Coins, and Cars” campaign, to reach this goal. Your contribution, no matter how big or small, will support education and clean water initiatives for families in La Corroza, Honduras.
