Worship this Sunday at 10:00 a.m. | |
On Sunday, July 7, our Duke Seminary Intern, Liv Vermane, preaches the sermon titled, "Ridiculous" based on 2 Corinthians 12:2-10. What does it mean to consider God's grace? In this sermon, Liv will explore the theme of God's prevenient grace, diving deeply into how God's grace shows up tangibly and concretely in our lives. Paul's words in 2 Corinthians remind us that, although we are not free from hardships, we persevere with the presence and love of God.
Rather than being limitations on our ability to be good disciples, Paul's words remind us that our vulnerabilities are vessels for God's grace to be revealed. Sometimes even our deepest encounters with God are accompanied by hardship; however, that does not make God's grace any less true or real.
We hope you'll join us this Sunday to deepen our relationship with God and neighbor as we explore the ridiculous and relentless grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Worship with us in-person, or if you’re out of town this holiday weekend, join us online by clicking the button below.
