President's Message:
I hope this message finds you well as we embark on the midsummer month of July. Aside from being the time of year to enjoy lots of popsicles and ice cream, it’s a time of mid-year reflection and action for our FPA community, and I'm pleased to share some updates and thoughts with you.
From NexGen's recent hosting of sought-after speaker Dr. Preston Cherry AFC®, CFT-I™, CFP®, our monthly virtual lunch and learn webinars, and our recent Women and Finance Pickleball Event, I want to express my gratitude to all of you who were able to attend with your presence and enthusiasm to make these events great.
Looking ahead, we have several events planned for the remainder of this year (with more to be added!) that aim to enhance member engagement and foster even stronger connections within our financial planning community; registration is now open for the following events:

I encourage each of you to participate actively in your Michigan FPA Chapter. Whether you volunteer for a committee, attend an upcoming workshop, or simply share your ideas with us, your involvement is crucial to the collective success of our local and national Financial Planning community. The goal is to make this profession better tomorrow than it is today.
On behalf of the FPA of Michigan Board of Directors, we look forward to seeing you at our next gathering.
Best to you,
Julie E. Hall, CFP®, CFT-I ™, MSF
