We are thrilled to announce that our congregational High Holy Day services once again will be held at the Movies of Delray, 7421 West Atlantic Avenue, Delray Beach.
We are VERY EXCITED to share that our services will be officiated by
Rabbi Aviva Bass and Cantor Carol Garrett.

Members of L'Dor Va-Dor who have joined since January 1, 2024 or recently renewed their membership will be entitled to tickets for all High Holy Day services included with their membership.
Guest tickets can be purchased for $100 per adult for all services if purchased before September 16th (tickets as of September 16, 2024 will increase to $120 per adult). Youth and students under the age of 18 are entitled to complimentary tickets.
Guest tickets for L'Dor Va-Dor's High Holy Day services can be purchased two ways, by check or online through our website:

To purchase by check payable to Congregation L'Dor Va-Dor, please include names of guests, your email address, phone number, and mailing address. Please mail to us at 6100 Boynton Beach Blvd. P.O. Box 743102, Boynton Beach, FL 33474. Please include a #10 (large) self-addressed and stamped envelope for us to send your tickets to you around the third week of September.

Friday, JULY 26, 7:00 pm ET - IN-PERSON (and Virtual): CELEBRATION OF SHABBAT with L'Dor Va-Dor and Cantor Carol! We welcome all to our IN-PERSON Shabbat on July 26 where we will enjoy the Sabbath with music and song by Cantor Carol as well as the musical accompaniment by Sandon Chevlin and Ruth Nodiff. We look forward to being with you once again! Our Oneg Shabbat refreshments following our Shabbat service will be sponsored by Kim McCreary and Ramona Garner, in memory of their friend Mark Goldhirsch. Tuesday, JULY 30, 7:00 pm ET - VIRTUAL: TOUCH of TORAH with L'Dor Va-Dor RESUMES on Zoom. We will share insights into the double Torah Parsha for the upcoming Shabbat on August 2, Matot and Massei. We will share a couple of videos, one recorded previously of the late Rabbi Barry Silver sharing his take on this Torah portion and another to provide a different perspective and insight for further learning. Our first venture will be at THE HIVE WATERFRONT RESTAURANT, located at 2412 Floral Road, Lake Worth (off of Hypoluxo Rd between Congress and I-95). Get to know fellow members and friends better and enjoy a nice meal together. All meals are personal expense. Monday, AUGUST 26, 7:00 pm ET - VIRTUAL: L'DOR VA-DOR ANNUAL MEMBER MEETING & ELECTIONS by ZOOM. Please Save the Date for this very important meeting and elections to the Board for all current Members of Congregation L'Dor Va-Dor to attend. We will provide an operational and financial status update, hold the elections, discuss the candidates for our rabbinical position and share any other updates needed. This is the perfect time to ask questions, provide suggestions and ideas! We hope you will be there with us!

Friday, SEPTEMBER 6, 7:00 pm ET - IN-PERSON: L'DOR VA-DOR CELEBRATION OF SHABBAT FOR RELIGIOUS FREEDOM! This will be a very special SHABBAT, part of a September month-long national awareness campaign in synagogues and organizations across the Nation, promoting rights for religious freedom, including women's rights, LGBQT+ rights, anti-Semitism, to name a few. This campaign is being sponsored by Jews for a Secular Democracy and the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County. We look forward to providing more information as we get closer to the date. Wednesday, OCTOBER 2 - Thursday, OCTOBER 3 & Friday, OCTOBER 11 - Saturday, OCTOBER 12 - IN-PERSON: L'DOR VA-DOR ROSH HASHANAH and YOM KIPPUR High Holy Day services, led by RABBI AVIVA BASS and CANTOR CAROL GARRETT - we welcome one and all to join with us to welcome the Jewish New Year 5785 at the MOVIES OF DELRAY, 7421 W, Atlantic Avenue. Tai chi is an internal Chinese martial art practiced for self-defense and health. Known for its slow, gentle, intentional movements, tai chi has practitioners worldwide and is particularly popular as a form of gentle exercise and moving meditation, with benefits to mental and physical health. These weekly classes are taught by Eric and provide an hour of stress-free time and well-being. Tai chi can help to improve balance. All men and women are welcome to any class or to continue on a weekly basis.

To those on our Healing List and those that are not, but should be, we send out our thoughts and wishes for you to be stronger, to heal, to recover, and to attain a full recovery to good health, a Refuah Shlema, renewal of the body, renewal of the spirit! Hoping that you will be returned to good health soon!
