Join us to discuss providing early intervention services to children in foster care. Topics include teaming with biological parents, foster parents, and social workers.

Facilitator

Jada Capers

Jada has been a Service Coordinator with the Virginia Beach Infant Program for the past 7 years. She is married and has 3 daughters. In her free time, Jada enjoys reading, shopping, trying new recipes, and spending time with her family. Jada is originally from New York, but she and her family migrated to Virginia for college and have made this their home for the past 15 years. She enjoys Early Intervention because she enjoys helping children and their families connect with the services that will help them continue to develop and succeed.

Amanda Howard

Amanda Howard is a service coordinator at the Virginia Beach Infant Program. She grew up in Appleton, Wisconsin and graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University with a BA in Psychology. Amanda enjoys the challenge that working with children in the CPS system brings, as it continually requires learning and adaptation of practice. Amanda has a 17 year old son who is a high school senior as well as a dog and three cats. In her free time, she enjoys gardening/houseplants and hunting for vintage treasure at estate sales, thrift stores, and flea markets.
