Hard to believe we've come to the end of 2022, already! It's been a busy year in the grants world and hopefully you all will be able to enjoy some down time before we get into the new year...bring on 2023! The Grants Office has already been busy planning out the upcoming year and have a lot in store for our statewide grant managers! Below you'll find updates regarding the upcoming Grant Summit, SWGMG meeting details and upcoming Grant Manager 101 trainings.

2023 Grant Summit

Join the OSC Grant Office for the SWGMG Grant Summit!

On February 15, 2023, join us for this FREE, in-person, full-day grant summit yjsy will provide a series of general sessions discussing various grant management topics, including updates, policies, best practices and more. Presentations will be provided by fellow State of Colorado grant managers and OSC staff. The summit agenda will be posted within the next couple weeks. Any questions, please contact Gina Salazar.

SWGMG Meetings

The 2023 SWGMG meetings will begin in May 2023. The February SWGMG meeting will take place during the Grant Summit. Like always we will send out a reminder and then agenda a couple weeks prior to the meetings, however, you will also be able to access the agenda and will find the "join" links on the grant website calendar and under the heading of the Statewide Grant Manager on the grants website.

Grant Manager 101 - Changes

This year we had a lot of interest in our Grant Manager 101 training, not only from new grant managers around the state but since the implementation of SLFRF, we have found a need to have Grant Manager 101 training with SLFRF woven throughout. Below is an overview of the Grant Manager 101 tracks along with the dates and registration links.

Grant Manager 101

The Grant Manager 101 training provides a common base of knowledge regarding grant best practices and the full life cycle of grants. Since grant processes vary across state agencies, this training stresses only key concepts. Registration is required.

SLFRF Grant Manager 101

The SLFRF Grant Manager 101 training provides a common base of knowledge regarding grant best practices and the full life cycle of grants, woven with specific SLFRF requirements. This training is intended for those new grant managers that are working with SLFRF funding only and should not be taken in place of the standard Grant Manager 101. Registration is required.
