As a resident of Marion, you may recall the vibrant monthly celebrations known as "First Fridays" that brought our community together in an atmosphere of camaraderie and celebration. Inspired by the spirit of these events and the cherished memories they evoke, I am delighted to announce that I will be hosting my inaugural State of the City address.

In a nod to tradition and community, the event will take place on the 3rd Friday, May 24th, at the picturesque Marion Riverfront. This location holds special significance as it symbolizes the heart of our city's new development area and serves as a testament to our prior celebrations. 

The evening promises to be a memorable one, with live music, delectable cuisine, and, of course, my address outlining the current state and future projects of our beloved Marion. Moreover, the location of the event is strategically chosen within the newly established Riverfront & DORA district, underscoring our commitment to fostering growth and innovation in our community.

I am personally extending this invitation to you, as your presence would greatly enrich the occasion. Your support and engagement are invaluable as we embark on this journey of progress and revitalization.
