Appalachian Understories hosts bike repair workshop

The general rule of thumb when cycling is commonly referred to as the ABCs of biking: air, brakes and chain. The idea is to ensure before every ride these three bike components are working properly to not cause issues while riding. New Adventures fosters community among new Bobcats

For some, the idea of spending the night in the woods invokes feelings of anxiety, stress and overall negativity. Add onto that the impending, life-changing event that is a student’s first semester of college, and doing anything outside is a no-go. However, the Office of Wellbeing and Recreation is shifting the dread of change to excitement using nature, student perspectives and camping. Storytelling class encourages innovative learning

Some classes at Ohio University like to bring in just a touch of magic beyond the regular class elements of readings and pop quizzes. Storytelling, Technology and Digital Media in Theme Parks, also known as COMS 4023, focuses on the importance of storytelling and how it can be seen in theme parks, and more specifically, Disney and Universal, complete with a visit to the parks. While many people despise Valentine's Day when it creeps up after the holiday rush of Thanksgiving and Christmas, its musical soundtrack can at least make up for all of its extravagances. In particular, the alternative-indie genre has had an array of love songs within the last several years for people in relationships, whether platonic or romantic, that continue to sweep people off their feet.
