Donkey Chess Night knows no age, no skill level

The game of chess has a reputation for being complex. With an undefinable number of tactical strategies and 20 different ways to just begin the game, it can be intimidating for new players to sit down at chess’s black and white board and start playing. That’s where Donkey Chess Night comes in. Donkey Coffee hosts its chess night every Sunday, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and is free to all. Click here to read the full story.

Blabby Abby: College volleyball changing for the worse

The NCAA has recently made the change to allow a “double” during a game of volleyball. As an ex-volleyball player, the rule change is going to alter the flow of the game and potentially the futures of many aspiring professional players. A double contact in volleyball is defined as when “the player touches the ball twice in a row, or the ball touches two parts of the player’s body in succession.” The new rule change allows for a double contact to be made.
