Well, here we go again. Another year!

2022 marks Nova’s 40th birthday! We’ve got the grey hair to prove it – and we also have the wisdom. Many large employers are still struggling to provide health care coverage that meets the Affordable Care Act’s (ACA) Employer Mandate regulations and avoid A & B penalties. Fortunately, Allied National’s Cost Saver Bronze Minimum Value Plan (MVP) affordably eliminates both penalties.
Any employer who has 50 or more full-time equivalent employees is considered an applicable large employer (ALE) under IRS rules and must offer health coverage to full-time employees.
The ACA’s Employer Mandate has two different penalties for noncompliance:
  • Penalty A applies if an ALE simply doesn’t offer coverage to at least 95% of its full-time employees.

  • Penalty B applies if coverage is offered, but it’s not affordable and/or doesn’t provide Minimum Value.
Allied’s new Bronze MVP is ACA compliant and requires no medical underwriting for groups from two or more. A group cannot be turned down because of health concerns. Let us know if you would like to see a quote for this product!
