The 21 Day Challenge or #21DC is a personal challenge designed to start out your year on the right track spiritually. The #21DC has 2 parts to it... A 21 day Daniel [START THE CHALLENGE ON ANY DAY YOU CHOOSE]
Fast. (see below for fast description). Secondly, read the New Testament in 21 days. This challenge is to devote your mind to the Lord by reading His word.
The 21DC is based around the 21DC App that is available in popular app stores. The app features daily reading plans, fun Daniel fast friendly recipes and chat boards. This app will allow you to connect with people from all over the world as we dedicate the first part of 2016 to the Lord.

DANIEL FAST INFORMATION
The Daniel Fast is a biblically based partial fast. It's a great introduction to a lifestyle of spiritual discipline. There are two anchoring scriptures for the Daniel Fast. In Daniel 1 the Prophet ate only vegetables (that would have included fruits) and drank only water. So from these scriptures we get two of the guidelines for the fast:
- Only fruits and vegetables
- Only water for a beverage
- Then in Daniel 10 we read that the Prophet ate no meat nor any precious breads or foods and he drank no wine for 21 days. So from this scripture, we get a third guideline:
No sweeteners and no breads

(Daniel 10:3) KJV
"I ate no pleasant food, no meat or wine came into my mouth, nor did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled."
