We are still looking for volunteers to help out with our annual Summer Reading Program. If you are interested in assisting with programming this summer, we would love to hear from you!
- Our first sensory gym will be launching May 30th at 10:30, and will occur every other Thursday through July. The gym is for ages 3-5 to explore the senses through tactile activities. We are grateful to the Loomis Community Preschool for sponsoring this series.

Our theme is all about bugs, so get ready to crawl, fly, and hop through a morning filled with interactive and sensory activities. Do you want to have fresh flowers every day? Do you want to grow cut flowers in the spring, summer, fall and/or winter? Let’s begin by planning out what flowers you want to grow. Then, we will go into detail on growing flowers from seeds, bulbs, or plugs. Growing foliage is also important. Finally, we will show you how to create a simple flower arrangement.

Preschool Storytime - Every Friday at 10:30 AM | |
Join us inside in the Jessie Helms community room for Preschool Storytime every Friday at 10:30 AM. We sing, dance, recite fingerplays, and listen to stories! Stay after for a craft, free playtime, and time to talk with other parents, grandparents, and caregivers. Please arrive 10 minutes early to get yourself settled before the story starts.
Browse the library after storytime and bring home a take-and-make craft kit to extend the fun at home.
