Due to simple industrial demographics and comments like "It would be easier to work with you if you were located closer", Starch Performance Services is growing its business by adding an office in Louisville, Kentucky.
 
There are numerous advantages to working from Louisville.  Foremost, Louisville is centrally located to the majority of the paper industry and it is in the Eastern time zone, thus, not more than an hour different from any paper mills, except for the west coast.
 

1. Louisville is a business friendly and relatively low-cost community from which to conduct business.
2. Louisville is centrally located for transportation and freight, and is easily within a day's travel to almost the entire industry in the Northeast, Midwest and Southeast, much of it by car.
3. And finally, it is home.  Bob graduated from Louisville's Seneca High School and western Kentucky's Murray State University.

 
So all in all, growing the business to the Midwest is a pretty easy, and logical transition.
