In this edition, I want to focus on the bespoke and standard motion control products that can be used at the cutting edges of the photonics industry.

 

Being able to take standard off-the-shelf components and configure them into working systems inside commercialised machinery is no easy feat, but advancements in technology in fields such as photonic inspection, machine vision, and camera stabilisation mean that higher precision, smaller size, and faster speeds are becoming more and more necessary.
