Celebrating a great success on our
2017 Between the Lines Tour!

Over the course of two weeks in October and November, Udi and Shir, two young Israelis, spoke at 25 venues across the Pacific Northwest and Northern California. Their lectures were part of a larger StandWithUs tour of over 180 lectures across the United States by Israeli reservists. In the Northwest, StandWithUs visited nine universities, four high schools, one middle school, six synagogues, two Jewish Federations, and El Shaddai Ministries, a locally-based but globally-present Hebraic Roots Christian organization.

Gil Hoffman's Visit To Seattle

There's no better way to get a view from the ground on Israel than from the people who cover the news for a living. So when Gil Hoffman , chief political correspondent and analyst for the Jerusalem Post, showed up in Seattle on a cold and blustery November weekend, the crowd hung on his every word.

Gil, who has been called "the most optimistic man in Israel," spoke at Herzl-Ner Tamid on Friday evening, at Island Synagogue on Saturday afternoon, and then at our StandWithUs exclusive Herzl Dinner (photos below), before heading off for his first-ever visit to Hawaii.

Fresh, delicious gourmet food prepared by Seattle Kosher Catering was paired with French wines and great conversation about Israel. We are grateful to our Herzl Dinner hosts Bonnie and Robbie Cape, and to all of the attendees for their support!
