Introducing our newest Ambassador
Staff Assembly Council welcomes the newest recruit for our Ambassador Program, Roxana Price, community education specialist for the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education program in Riverside County. Roxana, who enjoyed serving as an Ambassador in the past, is ready to use her role to increase engagement within her office.
“Being an Ambassador means connecting with my co-workers and sharing valuable information that can help improve and enrich lives,” she said.
This year, Roxana wants to inspire others to practice healthy eating habits and try new recipes. She describes herself as a “foodie” and said that she loves trying food from different cultures. “My favorite, so far, is a paste-like starch called fufu, from African cuisine,” Roxana said.
If you’re interested in becoming an Ambassador, contact Ambassador Chair Saoimanu Sope at ssope@ucanr.edu.
