PARISH LEADERSHIP LETTER - UPDATE

Dear St. Bridians,

Here is some transition news:

1. On the Lassiter's last Sunday, May 29, we will celebrate their time with us with a Festive Reception following Mass. Please bring a finger food to share. Beverages will be provided.
2. If you wish home communion prior to May 31, please let the office know so that we can get you on Fr. Jesse's schedule.
3. We have spoken to Canon Roy Hoffman at The Diocese and he is already looking for and talking to Priests on our behalf.
4. We may be able to get a shared priest in 5 to 6 months, according to Canon Roy.
5. Meanwhile, we are reaching out to get supply priests for Wednesdays and Sundays.
6. In time when there is no priest in the parish, the Senior Warden is responsible for liturgy. Because Bob is both Senior Warden and Treasurer, that would put a big burden on him. The Vestry voted last week to have Ralph and Mary Lovell serve with Bob as liturgy committee. That way he is not solely responsible for scheduling priests and overseeing sick communions, hospital visits and last rites. 

More information will be available to you soon as we have news. Meanwhile, many of you have asked what you can do to help. Here are some needs.

1. Attend Church regularly
2. Keep up with your giving
3. Call your fellow parishioners
4. Pray
