Feature Photo of the Week:

A Painting Come to Life

Juan Yarkin, our landscaper, took the top photo of the rainbow over our church on one of the stormy days this past week. In doing so, he had no idea he was bringing parishioner Lynne Ulmer's beautiful painting of our church (bottom photo) to life. That painting hangs in our church narthex. Thank you, Juan!

Preschool

The Preschool invites you to the 3rd Annual Art Auction. The silent auction will begin THIS SUNDAY, 4/14 in the Parish Hall, and will end Saturday, 4/20. This is our main fundraiser each year and proceeds fund programs as well as scholarships.

This year we are celebrating the end of the Art Auction with our first (hopefully annual) HeART of the Preschool event Saturday, 4/20. It begins at 6:00 pm, and there will be food and drinks for guests to enjoy as they browse the auction items and make their final bids. We will close out the auction at 7:30 and winners can take their items home with them!

There will be a Kid Zone for children of all ages, so there is no need to hire a babysitter for this fun event for the entire family.

The entire event is FREE of charge, although love offerings will be accepted.

You do not need to be present to win, so please visit the Parish Hall during that week to bid on one of the many items.

We are also still welcoming donations of any art items, so please contact the Preschool office at 770-978-1323 if you would like to donate. If you’re redecorating your home, this is the perfect solution for you

Please RSVP at eventbrite.com so we can get a headcount for food and the Kid Zone.

St. Matthew's Preschool and Kindergarten: Create for a Cause!

There is still time to donate items for the preschool! We're accepting creative works of various mediums and unique handmade crafts for our Arts and Crafts Fair Fundraiser

"HeART of the Preschool". April 14-20 (see below).

Generous donations last year allowed us to use the $4000 we raised to replace carpets in the classrooms and provided three scholarships this year.

To donate artwork or an auction item, please contact Juanita or Dalex at 770-978-1323 or email the preschool. All donations needed by April 10. All donations are tax deductible.

Final Episode Tuesday-The Chosen, Season 3

Soup & Bread Supper and a Movie continues through this Tuesday, April 16 at 6:00 p.m. Continue the story of Jesus' ministry through the eyes of his disciples and others around him.
