Update from St. Mary Pastoral Council
School Mission Statement
Over the past 18 months, the Pastoral Council has worked to establish a school mission statement that reflects and uplifts the Catholicity of the school:
In partnership with parents and in accordance with the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church, the mission of St. Mary School is to inspire students to strive for holiness, challenge them to reach their academic potential, and teach them to recognize the inherent human dignity of all of God’s children.
Please take time to read this Mission Statement with your children. It is the thread that ties together all aspects of St. Mary School from the classroom, to sports, PTO, school curriculum, how we treat one another, and beyond. We are proud of our Catholic faith.
Parent Advisory Council
In order to further effectuate this Mission, a new Parent Advisory Council (PAC) has been established for St. Mary School. The purpose of PAC is to act in an advisory and consultative manner for the Pastor and Principal for school related matters. PAC serves to give a voice to and increase transparency for parents and ensure all school entities are acting in accordance with the Mission. In addition, PAC is going to work with Pastoral Council on issues affecting the school and parish. Each member serves a three year term, and there may be a few members that roll off prior to the end of this term, which creates staggered positions. PAC is going to meet on a monthly basis with the Pastor and Principal.
Here is your Parent Advisory Council for the 2024-2025 school year:

Please pray for our Pastor, Principal, Administration, teachers, students, families, and PAC and Pastoral Council that the 2024-2025 school year is a safe, enjoyable, and spiritually fruitful one!
