2023 Youth Summer Mission Trip Raffle!

May 7, 2023

The youth group will be going on a mission trip to Chicago this summer, and to raise funds we are holding another raffle on after church Sunday, May 7th.

You can help by:

• Bringing in donated Raffle items by this Sunday, April 30th.
• Contacting local business to get gift cards or donations
• Coming to the raffle on the 7th and buy tickets for your chance to win!

The new ministry schedule will begin in just six weeks and we are in need of volunteers for many ministries in our body including: Screen Operators, Livestream, Nursery, Ushers, Chalice Bearers, Acolytes, and Prayer Teams. 

If you sense the Lord would have you serve in any ministry, contact the Church Office or see Jim Fulton after the service.

Akron Pregnancy Services Walk for Life will be Saturday, May 20, 2023. 

The Walk is an opportunity to support APS by registering as a walker and collecting sponsorships, or by sponsoring someone else who is walking. Invite family and friends to an event for the whole family!

Our guiding verse for the 2023 event is 1 John 1:7.

"If we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another."

Share the light of Christ with us at this year's Walk for Life! Meet at the Robinson House at 715 E Buchtel. Check-in begins at 9:00 AM, and at 10:00 AM we will begin with a time of worship then set out on the Walk, continuing in prayer and fellowship.

St. Luke's Vacation Bible School is coming!

June 26 - 29, 2023

We are in need of volunteers to help with:

Leading Bible stories 

Leading Crafts/Art

Leading Games

Leading Science/Hands on Discoveries

Planning/Purchasing food

Serving and Preparing food

Clean up food/areas

Registration table/Sign out

Music (one song that we can sing every day)

Puppetry

Leading opening and closing for each night

Preparing snacks for each night

Taking photos
