St. Luke's Summer Gatherings

The Summer Gathering for tomorrow, Friday, July 28th, has been CANCELED due to the extreme heat and the possibility of rain.

However, you can mark your calendars for the next Gathering on Sunday, August 13th, after the Sunday Worship service. It will be a wonderful opportunity to spend time with each other as a body.

At each gathering, we will meet under the tent for food, games, special children’s activities, and just spending time together as friends and family.

Bring a covered dish or favorite side to share with everyone. We will provide the burgers, hot dogs, and beverages.

If you can help with setup or clean up, we are still looking for a few volunteers. Please contact Fr. Andrew.

Plan on joining us on the 13th after the service as we share life (and food) with one another.

Future Summer Gathering Dates:

Sunday, August 13th, after church

Friday, August 25th, at 6:00 PM

Heritage Days are a time Copley comes together as a community.  The event includes music, food, art, games, and play areas.

St. Luke's will be volunteering to help wherever we're needed this year, and there are a variety of areas where we can give a helping hand.

This Sunday is your last chance to sign-up for one of the tasks from the event organizers.  St. Luke's also plans to have a Prayer Tent at the event.

If you have any questions or would like to sign up, contact Jim Fulton in the church office.

Life Groups Resume in September

Life Groups at St Luke's are a place to grow as disciples of Christ in the context of relationships. It is in those relationships where we can be genuine and vulnerable, truly care for each other, and spur each other on in the race set before us.

The groups will resume meeting again In September. If you are interested in joining one of these groups, CLICK HERE to register. If you have any questions about the groups, reach out to the church office or contact Fr. Andrew.

State Capital Prayer Walk

This Saturday, July 29th, Bud & Diana Pallotta are inviting everyone to join them as they cover the Capital in prayer. Prayer for our state and our leaders as they make decisions effecting our families, our children, and our grandchildren.

They will be meeting at 9:00 AM in front of the Jo-Ann Fabrics store in Montrose, then driving to the Capital Building in Columbus for a prayer walk around the Ohio Statehouse between 11:00 PM and noon.

With so many decisions being made in Congress and the voting box this Fall, it is important lift up our communities and state to the Lord of All.
