Join the St. Luke Choir

All students in Kindergarten through eighth grade have the opportunity to sing in the choir.

The Cherub Choir is for children in grades K-2. Children will learn to sing with joy and confidence! The Cherub sings at monthly Masses and performs at the Christmas Pageant and Celebrate the Arts Night. This choir will rehearse every other MONDAY afternoon from 3:00-3:45 pm, beginning Monday, September 9th.

The St. Luke Children’s Choir is a non-auditioned choir open to students in grades 3-8. This wonderful group of singers adds their voices to our monthly Masses. Choir members will work on basic musicianship skills including part-singing and proper concert behavior/etiquette. While a member of the Choir, your student(s) will not only be singing at our monthly Masses, but will also perform in our Christmas Pageants and Celebrate the Arts Night in the spring. The Children’s Choir will rehearse every other WEDNESDAY from 3:00-3:45 pm. Rehearsal will go from 3-4 in the weeks approaching the Pageant and the Arts show. The first Children’s Choir rehearsal will be Wednesday, September 4th.

If your child would like to add their voice to the choir this year, please take a moment and fill out this permission form and scan/email it back to Mrs. Reckamp or have your child return it to Mrs. Gattone in the main office.

Walk-a-Thon 2024: Going for Gold

It's almost time for our first major fundraiser of the year - the St. Luke School Walk-a-Thon! This annual fundraising event will take place on Friday, October 11th.

How you can participate

In order to ensure the success of the Walk-a-Thon, all students are asked to collect pledges, with the hope that each student can earn at least $200 in pledges from family, friends and neighbors. For their hard work, students will receive great prizes! Lots of volunteers will be needed so watch for the sign up form in the coming weeks.

If you haven't already, please set up your family's online donation page. We strongly encourage all donations be made online, however cash and/or checks will be accepted with a pledge sheet. All pledges are due Tuesday, October 8th.

Check out all the details about the event, including instructions on how to set up your online donation page and prizes being awarded in the Walk-a-Thon packet.

Last call for corporate sponsors

Corporate sponsors will have their logo on the event t-shirts, and all printed and online materials. All sponsorship funds go directly to St. Luke School so your support is needed. Please review the sponsorship form for detailed information on all of our giving levels. All forms are due to Sheila Price by tomorrow. Please email Sheila Price for more details.

Each month our Parish celebrates a special Family Mass, usually the last Sunday of the month at the 9:30 am Mass. The participation of our young people is an important part of the Family Mass. If your student would like to participate, please visit the SignUp Genius. The readings will be sent to you prior to Mass.
