Youth Fundraiser Dinner Tonight!

TONIGHT, June 5, our youth will be hosting a spaghetti dinner fundraiser for their upcoming mission/service trip to Cleveland, TN the following week. This is the first mission trip our youth has taken in a while so we are encouraging folks to come out and support them as they share about the trip and serve up a wonderful spaghetti dinner.

Boiler Update

This past week has seen fantastic progress with our new boiler. James River Heating & Cooling has come in and cut out and removed both of our old boilers from the boiler room and hauled them off. (We apologize to any who may have experienced the noise or “earthquake-like” shaking from below this past week.) Our next stage will be to finish cleaning and arranging the space for the new boiler to be installed in July, which has already arrived! We praise God for the blessing of heat to come this winter!

BEFORE BOILER REMOVAL

AFTER

St. Giles Presbyterian Church is pleased to announce that our highly successful Youth Drama program will be returning this Summer with Fiddler on the Roof Jr! We will also offer a stage craft component for any youth who want to work on the production crew. If you have any questions, please reach out to Ben Miller, Director of Music and Worship Arts at BMiller@stgiles.org. For more details and to sign up, please click here.

We also invite any child or adult who wants to sing in the ensemble to sign up with this form. NOTE: Children must be accompanied by an adult at all rehearsals and performance.

If you are an adult who would like to help behind the scenes, please fill out this form.

Registration for Community VBS is now open! Rising Pre-K - Rising 6th graders are invited to join us from July 10th - 12th, 5:30-8:00 p.m. each evening for an amazing adventure in Hometown Nazareth! Join St. Giles, Christ Pres., and Eternity Churches as we gather at St. Giles each night and journey back in time to the place where Jesus grew up to discover more of what it means to follow him today! Dinner for the whole family will be served at 5:30 each evening. Questions? Contact Heather Agnello at (804) 282-9763. Visit www.stgiles.org.

Food Pantry Still Collecting Donations!

Dear church family,

Thank you for all the food that you have given to the food pantry. The coordinators of the food pantry have told me that the food we have donated has made a huge difference in the number of families they can serve. With high cost of food, they are having trouble meeting the needs of their families. I am asking that you continue to be so very generous with providing any nonperishable goods. Please put donations in the bins outside of the front office. Thank you very much!

MAKE Studio News

Thank You St. Giles!

Make is so grateful for the abundance of donations you have sent our way this season! Our bins are overflowing with the items you are sending in and we are grateful. We are so full that we are running out of room to store everything! Thank you and please take a short break on recycled donations for now. We will request more soon!

Blessings, Angie
