Food Pantry Still Collecting Donations!

Dear church family,

Thank you for all the food that you have given to the food pantry. The coordinators of the food pantry have told me that the food we have donated has made a huge difference in the number of families they can serve. With high cost of food, they are having trouble meeting the needs of their families. I am asking that you continue to be so very generous with providing any nonperishable goods. Please put donations in the bins outside of the front office. Thank you very much!

First Thursday Book Club

Book club will meet on Thursday, July 11th because the first Thursday is a holiday. Consider joining regular book club members in the parlor on 7/11 when Dr. Art Thomas will discuss two men of God whose Christian legacy lives on. Through an insightful discussion, Dr. Thomas will paint pictures of Dennis Bennet and C. Peter Wagner. Lunch will follow the meeting for those whose schedules allow.

Laughter & Lunch

“Laughter is inner jogging”. You are invited to our third Laughter & Lunch event at the home of Frances Smith on Thursday, 7/18. Be prepared to experience the medicine of inner jogging when laughter fills this special time. Text Susan Herring for details if you plan to attend 804-514-1621.
