Dear School,

This week we are celebrating the St. Cecilia Class of 2024. We had a beautiful Baccalaureate Mass and luncheon yesterday and look forward to their graduation ceremony today at 4:00 pm. Congratulations to the families of all of our graduates. You will forever be a part of our More Than School family. 

Be sure to join us on Sunday at the Tustin Chili Cook-Off where we are looking to once again win the Most Spirited Booth and bring home a chili trophy.

Please keep our diocesan priests in prayer as they attend their annual retreat next week.

Tustin Street Fair and Chili Cook-off

The 40th Annual Tustin Street Fair and Chili Cook-off will be held on Sunday, June 2nd from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. This annual party takes place in the streets of Old Town Tustin and holds the distinct honor of being the largest one-day chili cook-off in the country, according to the International Chili Society. 

We need volunteers to help serve the chili at our booth. All supplies will be provided. Please sign up here. These hours can be counted toward next year's service hours. 

We look forward to continuing our winning streak of the Spirit Award and need students and their families to come show our St. Cecilia School spirit! Students who attend in St. Cecilia spirit wear may have free dress on Monday, June 3rd.

Service Hours Due Tomorrow

All service hours for the school year must be recorded in FACTS by tomorrow, Friday, May 31st. Any unserved or unrecorded hours will be billed at $35 per hour. School families have a service hours commitment of 40 hours per school year (20 hours for single parent families).

No Winning Score Hot Lunch in June

Please note that there will not be Winning Score lunch service in June. Ice cream sales will continue on full day Thursdays as long as we have volunteers to facilitate the sales.

2024 Diocesan Children's Choir Camp

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange is offering a Children's Choir Camp that is open to children entering Grades 1-12 at Christ Cathedral from July 29th - August 2nd, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm each day. Additional details on registration can be found here.

Youth Volleyball Camp at Foothill High School

Mr. Chris Lee will be offering a youth volleyball camp for boys and girls in grades 5-8 through Foothill High School and Tustin Unified School District. The dates are July 8th-11th from 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm each day. It will be located at the Foothill High School Event Center and the cost is $75. You can sign up here.

We pray for blessings on the marriage of our 8th grade teacher, Gabriele Szeibert to Bryan Nguyen. They celebrated their wedding on Saturday, May 25, 2024. Congratulations to the newly weds, Mr. and Mrs. Nguyen!
