For families in need, the Community Center of St. Bernard is a beacon of hope. Each month, they provide food and necessities to over 600 families, ensuring no one goes hungry. Their backpack program makes weekends brighter for kids by sending them home with food when school isn’t in session. And at Hope’s Book Nook, everyone can take, leave, or simply enjoy a good read, fostering a love of books in our community. 📚✨


Hygiene Drive: The center is currently hosting a hygiene drive to support their hygiene program. Donations of items like soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and feminine products can make a big difference—drop off your contributions and help keep our community healthy and clean. 🧼🪥

Startup St. Bernard, the Gulf South's largest "shark tank" style pitch competition, is back this fall for the 10th time! Three finalists will be selected to pitch their businesses to a panel of judges on August 22, 2024. Startup St. Bernard 2024 will take place at the brand new Student Testing and Career Counseling Center at Nunez Community College in Chalmette, LA.
