Archbishop Alexander's Visit
We welcome Archbishop Alexander to the heart of the Appalachian Deanery this weekend with his first visit to the parish as our bishop. We want to have as many as possible at the service and festivities to welcome him on this great occasion. The full schedule is published below.

A monk of Mount Athos, an Oxford-Trained Scholar of the Church Fathers, a much published author and teacher - and Archbishop of the Diocese of the South - all of this in the person of Abp. Alexander Golitzin.

Volunteers to bring foods for the Post-Vesper Meal on August 19, and for the Post-Liturgy Meal on August 20, are needed. Sign-up sheets are now in the Narthex. For questions or concerns, contact Elaine Morfas (317-748-3868) or morfas6@gmail.com

Moms' ROCK Start Up
Moms ROCK [Raising Orthodox Christian Kids] is a group created for moms and young children at St. Anne's.  All members can post to a closed Facebook group account for plans for play dates or outings, which will enable us to quickly network with each other.  In the recent months we have added many new families with young children to our parish.  This group started many years ago at St. Anne's with children who have now grown up.  Let's get this group restarted so our newer moms and younger kids can enjoy the company of other Orthodox families. If you are interested in participating in this group, contact Anna Freeman or Katie Prothro for information about how to join.

Summer travels and schedule often lowers Church attendance. The Church financial needs continue at largely the same level all year long. Remember your support this summer. Many thanks!
