Celebrating Catholic Schools Week!

CSW 2018 - January 28-February 3, 2018
We have had a wonderful Catholic Schools Week 2018. With this  year's  theme of "Learn. Serve. Lead. Succeed.":
  • We have learned about vocations and missionary work from the NET Team, Sister Mary and Deacon Daniel.
  • We have served by participating in a fundraiser for "Feeding the Hungry and Giving Drink to the Thirsty" of St. John Vianney School and orphanage that Fr. Mark Mlay founded. Please visit their website adoremissionarysistersofthepoor.org for information. We raised $1,185 today for our Spirit Day! Thank you for your generosity!
  • We have served all of our amazing Grandparents with special masses in their honor as well as a delicious breakfast!
  • We have led by presenting about missionary work in Haiti. This was done by one of our seventh graders, Kassia Janocsko for completing her Have A Heart 4 Haiti Mattress drive. As part of her Girl Scout Silver Award, Kassia raised more than $14,000 and provided 210 new mattresses to an orphanage in Haiti. She presented a slideshow to our middle school students about her trip this week.
  • We have succeeded by creating a special "Why We Love Our Catholic School" video by seventh graders Kate Lewis and Jim Kulikowski. We hope you enjoy it!
