Hello St. Alphonsus,

Celebrate Sunday Mass at

St. Alphonsus!

In this Sunday's Gospel, eleven disciples go to the mountaintop in Galilee and Jesus instructs them to make disciples of all nations, to baptize and to teach.

The ending of Matthew’s Gospel can be understood as the beginning of the Church. Jesus commissions his disciples to continue to teach in his name and to bring others into the community of disciples through baptism. The Gospel ends, as it had begun, with the promise that Jesus will continue to be Emmanuel, "God with us" (Matthew 1:23), for all eternity.

This Sunday, all the faithful of St. Alphonsus are invited to newly ordained Father Michael Mehringer's first Mass of Thanksgiving at 9 AM. Our music director Brian Bloye and team of musicians will have a glorious music program for this Thanksgiving Mass. Be sure to give Father Mehringer congrats!! There will be donuts/coffee hospitality afterwards in the narthex.

Confessions will not be heard this Saturday morning because all parish priests will be attending the Ordination Mass at Holy Name Cathedral. Saturday confessions from 11-Noon will resume next weekend, May 27, as normal. And of course, Reconciliation is available each Wednesday during Adoration from 6:30-7:30 PM.

Daily prayer keeps you in good relationship with the LORD, and yourself.

Invite your friends/loved ones to Mass! Sunday Mass schedule in English is at 9 AM, 11 AM, and 5 PM. Mass in Spanish is at 12:30 PM.
