Hello Carl! Here's the latest rundown on all things squash related in the Boston area.
MA State Singles Champions
Thank you to all players, draw directors, volunteers, and MA Squash for another great season of matches. Congratulations to our winners and runner up players. In the span of 5 hours, 32 matches were played on the Harvard Murr courts, some players competing in their first ever tournament and others with their first MA Singles Championship win. This year, MA Squash introduced a new division of competition for juniors allowing many younger players to meet and compete with one another outside of their home clubs. There were a total of 113 junior players with 6 lunging away as champions in the new format. Congratulations to all!
A special thank you to our volunteers Christina Brownell, Dan Reagen, Lisa Putukian, Nat Lovell, Moustafa Osman, Yuliya Epifantseva, Tim Carey and Wendy Berry for their help in making this a successful tournament.
