Hello Everyone! Like us on Facebook

Daffodils and tulips are blooming and the days are getting warmer - it's time to get out and have fun! Here's your list of activities to enjoy during March and early April. Make some plans and experience some of the great things going on in our community.

We begin with something that's very different and exciting! Starting today and continuing through the 5th, the Audie Murphy/American Cotton Museum presents World War II Living History Days as the 101st Airborne 502nd Able Company will be on the museum grounds for the weekend. Plan a visit to see this WWII re-enactment group who will be setting up their camp. The encampment will include period uniforms, parachute equipment, medical supplies, weaponry, tents and a field kitchen. Able Company honors the history, traditions, and sacrifices of the WWII paratrooper by showing a variety of vintage and accurately reproduced uniforms, equipment, weapons, and vehicles to depict the contributions and sacrifices of WWII Paratroopers. Come find out what it was like to be a soldier during WWII. Visiting the encampment on the museum grounds will be free. There will be regular admission charge to go through the museum. Museum hours are 10:00 am - 5:00 pm both days.

Tuesday, March 8th also brings something really fun and new to the area: the Creative Arts Community hosts a free Community Art Expo at the Hunt County Fairgrounds from 6-9 pm. Whatever your idea of art is, you'll find examples being demonstrated: culinary arts, watercolor, sculpture, performing arts, video, music, quilting and other needle-arts, woodturning, photography, painting, jewelry design and more! There will be activities for kids, too, so bring the whole family. Admission is free! More information is available on their Facebook page.

But, there's that other side of Tucker - which she showcases her flirtatious and sensual side. Both of these elements have kept Tucker a crowd favorite for many years - and are among the reasons that her fans are grateful that she is returning to the road after an absence of a few years.
