Spring is Here

As the snow melts away and the flowers begin to bloom, spring in the mountains is a sight to behold. The crisp air, the green foliage, and the sound of birds chirping all create a sense of renewal and hope. However, while we celebrate the beauty of this season, let us not forget those who are in need of our help.

Charitable organizations are working tirelessly to feed families, care for animals in shelters, provide medical care to those in need, and ensure that children have the school supplies they need to succeed. These organizations rely on the support of generous donors like you to continue their important work.

As you enjoy the beauty of spring in the mountains, take a moment to consider how you can make a difference in the lives of those who are less fortunate. Your donation, no matter how big or small, can help provide a meal to a hungry family, care for a homeless animal, give medical treatment to someone in need, or supply a child with the tools they need to learn and grow.

Together, we can make a difference and ensure that everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Let's come together this spring to support those in need and make our communities stronger and more resilient. Your support is crucial, and your generosity can truly change lives. Thank you for considering how you can help those in need this season.

Organizational Spotlight

The Jason Project

2023 Grant Recipient

We are excited to share with you the incredible impact that The Jason Project is having on at-risk teens in our community. This innovative program takes teens who are facing a variety of challenges, including mental disorders, drug addictions, abuse, neglect, and involvement in the system, and helps them find hope and healing through the power of nature.

Through four hikes on Grandfather Mountain in the summer, these teens are given the opportunity to confront their fears, push their limits, and learn to respect the beauty and power of the natural world. It is through these challenges that they are able to overcome adversity and discover their own strength and resilience.

The Jason Project is not just about climbing mountains, it is about climbing out of the darkness and into the light. It is about showing these teens that they are capable of so much more than they ever believed possible. It is about giving them a second chance and helping them find a new path forward.

We are so proud of the work that The Jason Project is doing and the positive impact it is having on the lives of these teens. We hope that you will join us in supporting this incredible program and helping to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Together, we can help these teens overcome their challenges and reach new heights. Thank you for your support. Contact HCCF today to help us continue our support for The Jason Project.

The Jason Project was founded by Jason and Cheryl Nipper in honor of their late son Jason.
