Did you feel that the first quarter just flew by? It was a blur! It moved so fast for us that we didn't publish in Feb/Mar because...

In February, we participated in our 8th Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) conference, CREF24 in San Diego, conducting our onsite LinkedIn Profile Rapid Reviews with attendees! A week later we were in Orlando for conference #9, MBASVC24, to do it all again. Receiving a few quick profile edits for improvement from a seasoned Independent LinkedIn Specialist adds to the conference experience - and we are grateful to our Sponsor, MCS.

March delivered the reality of playing catch-up from being out of town for much of the previous month. Overall, we truly enjoyed the challenge of back-to-back conferences. TIP 1 - ENJOY THIS 30min REPLAY

The short answer: YES. Enjoy a bit of inspiration! Note: Ring lights do make a difference, and mine decided to quit 5 minutes before the start time. :)

TIP 2 - HAVE YOU VERIFIED YOUR ID?

Now more important than ever, LinkedIn strives to reduce the number of fake profiles on the platform. This option is easy to do and the 'badge with the checkmark' tells profile visitors that you are a real human and trustworthy. Steps: Under headline & location, tap More > About this profile > Verify now > to start the verification process. You will need your cell phone.

TIP 3 - WHEN DID YOU LAST CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD?

I ran into an email scam last week that prompted me to change several passwords, and I included my LinkedIn account in the process. Steps: Tap ME on the right of the Navigation Bar > choose Settings & Privacy > Sign in and Security > Change Password. You will need your current one to do this.
