Congratulations Impact Maker Graduates

Congratulations to our Spring 2024 Impact Makers cohort for completing the 12-week program. These amazing students, representing 8 different schools, took part in our program focusing on Identity Development, Leadership Skills, Community Awareness, and Wellness Support Resources. Furthermore, they applied what they learned by volunteering with various local nonprofits, contributing over 350 volunteer hours!

Community Leadership

Our CEO, Josh Gezahegn was honored to participate in the Executive Leadership Long Beach series this May to learn more about the needs of the Long Beach community and connect with city leaders across sectors. We are excited to expand our service in our Long Beach branch beginning this fall.

We were also honored to host Leadership Torrance in their final activity of Non-Profit Day at our Torrance center. Congratulations to our board member Sacha Ohara and long-time volunteer Bob Hagel for completing Leadership Torrance 2024!

These programs offer an amazing opportunity for collaboration and community impact, working together to empower leaders in Torrance and Long Beach.
