Project Spotlight: Collective Cultures Creating Change

Collective Cultures Creating Change’s Resilient Garden Project is blossoming! We’ve begun harvesting our red cabbage – a wonderful milestone as we enjoy the fruits of our labor. In addition, several infrastructural and garden upgrades are underway to improve accessibility and healthy soils:

  • Pathways Installed: We’ve made great strides with our pathways! Currently, 80% of our pathways are in place, bringing us one step closer to creating a fully navigable and accessible garden space.
  • Sheet Mulching: We’ve started installing sheet mulching in various areas of the garden. This process will continue until all the designated areas are fully covered, helping us maintain healthy soil and reduce weeds.
  • Garden Clean-Up: We had our first garden clean-up with the Garden Club! It was a fantastic turnout, and we appreciate all the hard work put in to keep our garden in tip-top shape.
