"Hangout at Hillside" Spring Social - Friday, April 12 (6:30pm - 10pm)
The Good News Church Spring Cookout, Hangout & Bonfire will be on Friday, April 12 (6:30pm - 10pm). This is always a fun time to just hang out and enjoy time together. Be sure to mark your calendar. Invite friends and come join us!
"Good News At Noon" Homeless Ministry - Saturday, April 20 (11:30am - 1pm)
Good News at Noon is a local homeless ministry in the Gainesville area where we serve monthly by helping to serve lunch on the 3rd Saturday each month. This is a fantastic family serving opportunity! For more information or if you'd like to join us, click here.
The Good News Story - Sunday, April 21 (5pm - 7:30pm)
Come hear the story of how Good News Church started, what we’re about, where we’re going, what we believe, and if you're interested, how to become connected as a community or covenant partner. Dinner is included. For details, click here.
NEW! Bob Ross Painting Class Social - Tuesday, April 23 (6:30pm - 8:30pm)
We're making this fun Monkey Wrench painting event a church social opportunity, so come join us and invite friends! Adults and teens can participate. Julea, owner of Southern Misfit Studios, will walk us through, step by step, as we paint our very own Bob Ross "Sunset Aura" painting. Cost is $35 and includes all paint supplies, one MWB beverage, and 2 hours of instruction. If you don't care to paint, come watch and hang out with us! For more info and/or to register, click here.

TUESDAYS (6:30pm - 8:30pm) - Men, Women & Teens Small Group & Dinner
All are invited to join us for this weekly opportunity to connect, have dinner, reflect and discuss highlights in our reading (and recent sermons) on the book, God's Great Story. We'll also include conversational questions to help us get to know each other better, as we listen and share our own stories of life and faith. This is going to be fun! WEDNESDAYS (6:30pm - 8:30pm) - Men's Ministry Info Mtg. & Dinner
All guys are invited to join us in this 10-week audio series titled, 5 Things Every Christian Needs to Grow by R.C. Sproul. Each Wednesday (6:30pm - 8:30pm), we gather at Hillside for dinner, fellowship, listen to the 30 min. audio, and discuss. The goals for this men's ministry are connection, relationship building, and spiritual growth.

The verse that undergirds our vision is Galatians 5:5b, “The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.” We value people, community, relationships, prayer, and Bible reading. We also value being able to be yourself. We’re all struggling with something, so there’s no need to pretend that we have it all together.

The mission of Good News Church GA is "to connect with people and build relationships through community workshops, neighborhood-focused ministry, serving local needs, mentoring, and worship."
